Perspective Change: Reframe Your Products Without Reshooting

- Perspective Change — Reframe products without reshooting
The three-quarter view sells sofas. The top-down shot reveals table dimensions. The straight-on front shows upholstery detail. Each angle serves a purpose—but shooting every angle for every product multiplies your photography budget and timeline.
Perspective Change generates new camera angles from a single photograph, letting you create comprehensive product views without returning to the studio.
What It Does
Perspective Change uses AI to understand the three-dimensional structure of your furniture from a single photograph, then renders it from different viewpoints. The AI maintains accurate proportions, appropriate lighting, and realistic detail as it generates alternative perspectives.
Upload one well-shot image. Select your desired camera angle. Generate new views that appear as if photographed from that position.
Camera Angles Available
Eye-Level Views
Front: Head-on, eye-level view—the classic product shot that shows the face of your furniture.
Left Side / Right Side: Direct profile views from either side, revealing depth and construction details.
Back: Rear view, important for furniture that's seen from multiple directions or has back details.
¾ Left / ¾ Right: Angled front views that show depth and dimension—often the most flattering angle for upholstered pieces.
Rear ¾ Left / Rear ¾ Right: Angled rear views, useful for pieces with interesting back details or room-dividing applications.
Elevated Views
High Angle: Looking down at approximately 30 degrees—adds drama while maintaining recognizable proportions.
Top Down: Directly overhead at about 60 degrees—excellent for tables, beds, and modular configurations.
Bird's Eye: High, wide-angle overview—ideal for showing furniture in spatial context or revealing overall footprint.
When to Use It
Comprehensive Product Pages
Modern e-commerce expects multiple views. Rather than scheduling shoots for every angle, photograph your hero shot well and generate the supporting views.
Specification Clarity
Certain angles communicate certain information:
- Top-down shows table surface dimensions clearly
- Side views reveal sofa depth and cushion height
- Three-quarter angles show overall form and presence
Generate the angles that answer buyer questions.
Space Planning Assistance
Buyers need to understand how furniture fits in their space. Multiple perspectives help them visualize placement:
- Front view for how it looks facing them
- Side view for how far it projects
- Top-down for floor plan fitting
Marketing Variety
Different platforms, layouts, and campaigns benefit from different angles:
- Instagram might feature a dramatic three-quarter shot
- The product page shows utilitarian straight-on views
- Print catalog layouts vary angles for visual interest
Generate what each context requires.
How to Use It
Step 1: Upload Your Source Image
Select a well-lit, clearly detailed photograph of your furniture. The AI needs to understand the object's form to render it from new angles.
Best source images:
- Clean background or professional setting
- Good lighting with visible detail
- Angle that shows the overall form
Step 2: Select Camera Angle
Use the dropdown to choose your target perspective. The options are grouped:
Eye Level: Front, ¾ Left, ¾ Right, Left Side, Right Side, Back, Rear ¾ Left, Rear ¾ Right
Elevated: High Angle, Top Down, Bird's Eye
Each option includes a brief description of the resulting view.
Step 3: Configure Settings
Size: Choose output aspect ratio:
- Original: Maintains your source dimensions
- Square (1:1): For Instagram and consistent grid layouts
- Classic (4:3): Traditional product photography ratio
- Portrait (3:4): Vertical orientation
Number of Images: Generate 1-10 variations. Multiple generations give you options to choose from.
Zoom: Adjust framing from wide (full context) to close-up (detail focus):
- Wide (0): Maximum context around the furniture
- Auto (5): Default balanced framing
- Close-up (10): Tight focus on the product
Step 4: Generate and Review
Click "Generate Image" and review results. Each variation may interpret the angle slightly differently. Select the best match for your needs.
Advanced Options

Tags appear in your Image History for easy retrieval.
Quality Mode
Toggle between Quality and Fast mode:
- Quality Mode: Maximum refinement, best for final deliverables
- Fast Mode: Quicker turnaround for exploration
Tips for Best Results
Start with Strong Source Material
The AI's understanding of your furniture depends on what it can see:
- Ensure good lighting throughout the piece
- Avoid heavy shadows that obscure detail
- Include enough context to understand form
Choose Appropriate Angle Transitions
Some transitions work better than others:
Easier transitions:
- Front to ¾ views
- Side to side
- Eye-level to slightly elevated
More challenging:
- Front to back (requires inferring unseen detail)
- Eye-level to directly overhead
- Standard view to extreme angle
The AI handles these impressively, but results vary by source complexity.
Generate Multiple Variations
For important images, generate 3-5 variations:
- AI interpretation varies between runs
- Different variations may nail different details
- Having options speeds your selection process
Review for Accuracy
Check generated perspectives for:
- Consistent proportions
- Accurate structural details
- Natural lighting interpretation
- Appropriate shadow behavior
Most generations are ready to use; occasionally, you'll prefer one variation over another for specific reasons.

Current Status
Perspective Change is currently in alpha. This means:
- The technology is actively evolving
- Some angle transitions may produce varied results
- Complex furniture may challenge the AI more than simple pieces
- Your feedback helps improve the system
We're particularly interested in learning which angles and transitions matter most to furniture professionals.
Cost and Credits
Perspective Change uses credits based on the number of variations generated. Cost estimates display before you generate. Compared to scheduling additional photography sessions, this represents significant savings for building comprehensive product imagery.
